As part of the National Ecological Footprint and Biocapacity Accounts, we produce individual workbooks for each country for the last year of data we have available. In this workbook, production, import and export data are detailed in different tabs. These tabs contain information about the six components that account for the ecological footprint (fishing ground, grazing land, cropland, built-up land, forest products, and carbon emissions) and biocapacity data as well.
From summary information to specific data on trade commodities, the national workbook is a useful tool to understand a country’s current requirement of land to satisfy its current needs and also offset its waste.
